I also seem to be lost when it comes to design.

It printed quite well.
The paper’s firm, there are no unsightly blemishes, and now it’s only to order the mailing tubes and get addresses.

If you did not reply by yesterday/the 6th of February, you will not receive a copy unless you had replied to my previous questions regarding printing copies and the interest in it.
If someone decides to back out last minute, however, there will be some copies left.
And, of course, I can always go and print some more. Not quire sure when that will be, however.

If I set up an online store to sell prints and keychains and whatnot, the price will be going up {there is no profit for me in this at the moment, since whatever I am charging is simply to cover costs}. I’d have to set up an online store first though.

I’d write more but I am about to pass out.

{xxxiii} and that’s a sketchdump.

notable things from left to right:

-cinderella in art nouveau, except half-assed.
-main character of upcoming comic, or something. horribly hard to keep consistent.
-the thing with the short hair and monocles is an attempt at personifying Wheatley.
-the two small squares are thumbnailed posters for a Portal poster {will be trying to make it look like an actual poster instead of mere decoration} and possibly a Halo poster {will look like propaganda}.
-that which is labelled snow white is snow white. /shot
-then an attempt at GLaDOS. not quite sure if she looks severe enough. finalish version is standing next to Wheatley.
-my favourite OC simply by virtue of being extremely easy to draw and equally fun. draw a random curve and you will be able to fit a cat into it. /shot

{xxxi} fairly sure I’m done. minus perhaps a few tweaks here and there.

edited some things. hand is less deformed.

so in the end it was all three options combined {Chell with Wheatley/CC in the overgrown chamber /shotshotshot}. I think it looks decent. not quite sure if it’s distracting {I’m never sure until the day after haha /shot}.

other than that, did some scribbling near the bottom of quotes from the Oracle Turret. also hid Caroline’s name {although it’s not really that hard to find}. 80’s logos near the top corners, etc.
I would have liked to put in some scribbles a la Rattmann but it would have been distracting.

so! it’s done.
I think this is my best work of 2012. Except it’s only been 15 days; hopefully I’ll prove myself wrong.
thank you all for your support and input; I’m glad and I appreciate it. I really do.
I’ll look into shipping if there are people who do want it {if I do figure it out I’ll post something later and ask for addresses, I suppose}.

the letters are done minus some tweaking to the GLaDOS at the bottom {I intend on hiding Caroline’s name here somewhere}. Also added lyrics to Cara Mia over the bottom {not sure if it works yet, I’ll have to see tomorrow}.

It is ridiculously hard to get the arch on top right. It’s still off. I’ll have to fix it.

The orange portal needs to be filled in.
Current ideas are either the abandoned spaces outside the 1950+ chambers {the place with the catwalks, water/acid, etc.}, wires similar to the halo behind Caroline, or Chell + companion cube/Wheatley. which one sounds best to you?

trying to decide where to put the lettering. like the bottom, not so sure about the top.
also toned down the brown tint to make it lighter {thank you for all your answers} so that it would print more like the second one in my previous post.
it’s looking more like a proper poster now.
