❒ Single ❒ Taken ✔ You've found another one! How exciting!

Seven bullets from the Rifle,
Seven cracks of lightning,
Six bullets are faithful to their mark,
The final seventh wanders, its purpose in the dark,
Errant as is the Errant Rifleman.

I feel a sense of accomplishment looking at this. /shotdead

3x1’ is much larger than I’d imagined, for some reason. I suppose I’m more used to the conventional 11x17” {although I must admit 11x17”s always look oddly narrow to me on paper as opposed to on the screen}.

The last picture has your everyday 30-cm ruler for comparison.

I’d like to apologize for phone camera and horrid lighting.

These will be $30, hopefully that’s a reasonable price enough.

I’ll be taking orders in general once I manage to take a breather after the convention.

{lxxxii} I lied. I wasn’t done.

Fixed the background, and made some changes to his face.

Also fixed the Opera poster for printing - for some reason it was six inches too short, hence the extension.

I hope no one will mind if I take a couple of days off art, haha.

I’ll upload a nice, complete set of all giveaway prizes/choices tomorrow with the new buttons and such.

GIVEAWAY!

A man had promised a giveaway. A man will host a giveaway.
Thank you to my new followers! I’m glad that so many people like my art.

Prizes

Any three prints of your choice, be it 11x17” or 36x12” {provided that the last size works out}.
The Eeveelutions keychain set.
Any six buttons of your choice; they are 2 1/4” in diameter.

I will be adding more choice to the prize pool as the month goes by, as I’ve got more art in the works - the house sigil buttons, especially.

Rules

a } one reblog per person.
b } likes don’t count.
c } you don’t need to be following me.
d } please have your askbox open as I will be notifying the winner through it.

Valar Morghulis.

{xliii} the cake.

My drapery is getting rusty.
I also seem to be lost when it comes to design.

Regarding L’Opera Cara Mia.

Who’s interested in a poster 23” wide and 5’ tall?

I’m quite serious. I’m talking this over with a wonderful man in Poland, and apparently 60x150cm prints quite fine.
It’s about $35 to print, however, and I’m not entirely sure how big of a monster shipping would be depending on how many I print.

I believe 40x100cm is also an option.

Anyone interested?

{xxxix} and done.

Currently thinking of ways that I can print things 3’x1’: then I can sell prints that are more proportioned, dimension-wise, like typical Art Nouveau posters {or at least the opera posters done by Mucha}.
This one probably won’t make it to print stage because it’s quite low-res.

If I can’t find a way to print it then I’ll probably just hand-paint some posters and auction it off, haha.

Also, this is the Opera Turret, not GLaDOS. People seem to confuse the two {and in my first Portal piece it was actually Caroline and not Chell, haha /shot}.

{xxxviii} looks like my thumb is back in action.
Also a very typical-looking GLaDOS.

And I recently hit 100 followers; and so, thank you, haha. I’m very glad people like my art.

time: 1h

{xxxvii} looking slightly better but not by much.
Changed a couple of things, played around with saturation and contrast a bit, etc.
Don’t think it’s done yet though.
Gotta eat some more of that Humble Pie with a side of Critique from that wonderful place called Reddit.
That, and finish that goddamned OCT. So close and yet so far.

{xxxvi} looking hectic. Unfortunately I think it’s only going to become more detailed, haha.

Flowers are very hard to stylize; just hard to draw in general, really, because I seem to be incapable of capturing the velvet smoothness of the petals. Nor do they look particularly light and airy.

Gotta pile on the flowers behind the turrets though.
Anyone want to try guessing flower names? /shot

{xxxv} working in digital is infinitely messier.
will be able to chuck all school-related things in two days and work on things in earnest; can’t wait.

lots of flowers in this one.
forget-me-nots to begin with, and then more that mean various similar things; properly representative of the general mood at the end, I hope. But then again, how many people know flower meanings by heart? haha.
